Colorado motor vehicle dealers and salespersons are primarily regulated by the Department of Revenue, Auto Industry Division. CADA staff members attend the regular, monthly meetings of the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB) and work closely with the Auto Industry Division (AID). The nine- member dealer board oversees the licensing and supervision of motor vehicle dealers and their sales representatives; members are appointed by the governor for three-year terms. Various other Colorado agencies also regulate motor vehicle dealers; links on some of the other key agencies are included below as well.
